Living in Seattle, WA, we watched so many of our favorite third spaces disappear—especially around Capitol Hill. That’s why we created Basecamp Cafe in Seattle, WA—a lifestyle food and coffee space designed for genuine connection and relief from the tight squeeze of small apartments.
Come stay awhile in our cozy cafe, complete with plenty of outlets, south-facing windows, comfy seats, and fast Wi-Fi. Whether you're sipping cold brew, enjoying non-coffee cold drinks like matcha or sparkling teas, or cooling off with one of our signature iced non-coffee options, we have something for everyone. Pair it with our rotating selection of local bakery items and settle in—perfect for remote work, your next book club meetup, or a laid-back game night with friends
Capitol Hill's Favorite Cafe and Bar
We're proud to serve local small-batch roasted beans by Caffe Lusso in traditional lattes as well as rotating seasonal beverages designed by our friendly staff.
We have craft tea, kombucha on tap from Ballard favorite, Shen Zen Tea, and a rotating tap list from local breweries.
Join us for happy hour daily 3pm to 6pm for $6 pints of beer and kombucha.
Campfire members get 30% off cafe purchases. Trail and Summit members get free coffee/tea and 10% off other cafe purchases.

The Basecamp Coffee Shop is centrally located just a 5 minute walk to Capitol Hill Light Rail Station, and full of natural-light. High ceilings, multiple fast WiFi networks and 80 comfortable chairs and cozy couches make us the perfect hang out spot. We even have a projector at the ready. Book us for your next event!
We're designed to act as a third space for small Capitol Hill apartment dwellers and visitors alike.
If you're here for a while, don't worry! Every space has a nearby electrical outlet to charge your phone or laptop and our south-facing, wall-to-wall windows catch plenty of daylight all year long.
