About the event
Packing a backpack is one thing, learn from us how to take those skills and apply them to bikepacking! We'll teach you what kinds of gear you'll need to get your bike ready for bikepacking, how to maximize space and weight distribution, and how to understand and tackle the differences between different modes of travel!
This course is a part of our backpacking and bikepacking series! We at Gearhouse want to get as many different kinds of people outside, so we’re running a series to teach you absolutely everything you’d need to know to get out into the backcountry. We'll talk how to pack a bike, gear, trail selection, weight (you don’t need to be ultralight to have a lighter pack!), food, safety: we will cover it all. At the end of this series, you’ll be confident in your skills to get you and your friends out on the trail, and we'll plan a trip to put your knowledge to the test.
