This is Part 3 of our Intro to Backpacking Course: Trip Planning

If you've never been out overnight on a trail, planning your first backpacking trip can be daunting. But with great advice and a few resources, you can feel comfortable starting off with a safe and enjoyable backpacking trip.
In this session, you'll learn how to choose a suitable route, how to prepare before the trailhead, on the trail, and for your return. You can explore a number of trip options using our physical maps at the space, and even plan out a full trip with friends.
