Intro to Skate Cross-Country Skiing

Skate skiing is the next level for those that have tried Classic XC Skiing and gotten the hang of it! (Or for anyone that has skied or skated/roller bladed a lot). 

Come try the flowing nature of skate skiing and cover some distance! It's tricky to learn but once you get the hang of it, you'll never go back to classic. 

Details:

• Meet at Gearhouse at 8:30am to get outfitted with gear and arrange carpools. Location TBD based on trail conditions.
• We'll provide boots, skis, and poles. No helmets or goggles needed.
• Wear multiple lightweight layers of clothing for warmth and versatility (as if you were going hiking) and bring water, a small backpack, and snacks.

No-show/cancellation policy

If you cannot attend an event, please cancel within 48 hours of the start time. There will be no refunds and any missed events will result in a $20 no-show fee.
