Intro to Cross-Country Skiing

XC skiing is easy enough that anyone can do it and it's a great workout in the snow! It's as easy as walking and much more efficient than snowshoeing. This intro class will be on flat terrain - stay tuned for more advanced adventures that goes on rolling terrain! Details:

• Meet at Gearhouse at 7am to get outfitted with gear and arrange carpools. Location TBD based on trail conditions.
• We'll provide boots, skis, and poles. No helmets or goggles needed.
• Wear multiple lightweight layers of clothing for warmth and versatility (as if you were going hiking) and bring water, a small backpack, and snacks.

No-show/cancellation policy

If you cannot attend an event, please cancel within 24 hours of the start time. There will be no refunds and any missed events will result in a $20 no-show fee.
