Head of Growth

Our Purpose

Welcome to Gearhouse! Started in September 2021, Gearhouse is on a mission to increase affordable, equitable, and easy access to the outdoors while reducing our consumption habits with an alternate path than ownership through community and new experiences.

We aim to introduce and develop a love of the outdoors for those new to exploring while also providing growth opportunities for those already dabbling. Gearhouse frequently experiences double digit growth each month and we’re looking to expand our reach.

The Job

Gearhouse is looking for an individual excited about the outdoors with experience planning, executing, and tracking marketing initiatives. The goal is to get more of Seattle excited about outdoor adventures through education, trips, and community.

Your role extends beyond marketing strategy, and you’ll have the opportunity to shape the future of Gearhouse through adventure ideas, partnerships, product development and more!

This role will focus on:

  • brainstorm and execute marketing campaigns that resonate with our target audience with a limited budget

  • monitor and analyze the performance of all marketing efforts, and iterate on tactics as needed to drive organic results

  • collaborate with the rest of the team to ensure all marketing efforts align with our overall brand strategy

Gearhouse is growing and is building a creative, dynamic, and diverse team to grow with. Proven and talented team members have an opportunity to expand their skills and roles within Gearhouse. We value creative thinkers and self-starters and you’ll have the opportunity from the beginning to dabble in, learn from, and contribute to other aspects of the business that excite you. Team members bringing new thoughts, ideas, and experiments to the table are valued and encouraged!
