Women Outdoors Monthly: Paddle + Hike
The first ever Women Outdoors monthly event! We chose to start with a hike and a paddle at the Rattlesnake Lake Recreation Area.

About the event
We are stoked to hold our first official Women Outdoors event. The activity is chosen each month at the Women Outdoors Happy Hour.
Women Outdoors is member-facilitated and exists for women to support women in their outdoor pursuits. All outdoor levels and welcomes any person identifying as Women, Femme, Trans and Non-Binary.Â
Please note: membership is required for this event. You can sign-up on our website or reach out to tessa@joingearhouse.com to learn more about joining the community. If you'd like to trial the community, you can attend Women Outdoor Happy Hour for free.
This month's event:
Location: Rattlesnake LakeÂ
Activity: Hike Rattlesnake Ledge and paddle Rattlesnake Lake
Departure: Meet at Gearhouse at 8.30am, organising carpooling, pick-up gear, grab a morning beverage, then head out
Return: The return will vary depending on the group decision, but aim to be back no later than 4pm
Gear reservation: Please reserve any gear that you'd like to use for the event asap
