Plant and Clothing Swap

We welcome you to join in for both the plant swap and the clothing swap!

Plant Swap Details: 

Join us for a fun-filled evening of sharing plants and gardening tips at our Spring Plant Swap! This is a great opportunity to connect with other plant enthusiasts in the community and add some new greenery to your home or garden.

How it works: Bring your healthy, well-rooted plants to swap with others. You can bring as many or as few plants as you like. Please label your plants with their names and any care instructions you have.

Not sure what to bring? We welcome all kinds of plants, from houseplants to outdoor plants, succulents to flowering plants. You can even bring seeds or cuttings if you don't have full-grown plants to swap.

Clothing Swap Details: 

In the United States alone, we send 21 billion pounds of textiles into landfills every single year. Moreover, the fashion industry contributes a fifth of the global water pollution, and a third of the microplastics in the oceans. Gearhouse was founded with the aspiration to contribute to reducing the environmental impact of the outdoors industry. To celebrate Earth Month, we are hosting our first outdoor-clothering/accessory swap!

Here's how it works:

• Clean out your closets and bring any clothes, shoes, or accessories in good, wearable condition that you’re willing to exchange.
• Take home up to as many new-to-you things as you bring.
• Hang out with your Gearhouse friends and swap sustainability tips and tricks while celebrating sustainable alternatives!

After the event, we'll bring all unselected clothing items to a local charity on your behalf.
