About the event
This is a low impact walk. We'll be going slow and checking out what we find along the way. It starts early enough to catch what the birds are up to, but not so early that we'll suffer. We provide coffee first thing.
Our Adventurer in Residence, Colleen, will share their knowledge about urban wildlife, and help you make connections about the behavior that we see in the birds around us, and the environment that we live in. It's likely that we will see great blue herons, grebes, mallards, egrets and ospreys. Maybe bald eagles if we're lucky!
Things that would be helpful to have include: binoculars, guidebook, comfortable walking shoes and your own cup for coffee. We'll be providing coffee as soon as we meet. Afterwards we'll have a spread of pastries and fruit, with non alcoholic drinks included.Â
