About the event
In partnership with Trail Mixed Collective, Gearhouse is hosting a night for all backgrounds to get excited about backcountry touring. Whether you've been doing it for years and just want to get some people excited, find new adventure partners, or just want to know what all the buzz is about and how the gear works in a safe and welcoming space, we'd love to have you!
We'll have:
- splitboards and touring skis and avalanche safety gear on hand to talk over the gear
- a speed friending round so you can walk away with new friends
- a DIY waxing tutorial for those that own any type of skis or snowboards
- maps and ideas for places to go from beginner to advanced
- beer for sale
- a raffle for a 6-month Gearhouse membership!
This event is for BIPOC/LGTBQ+ individuals interested in backcountry skiing and splitboarding with any level of experience and identifying as any gender to meet likeminded folks in the area and build community in the sport.
Gearhouse will have memberships discounted 20% for anyone that signs up at the event!
Please note that Gearhouse’s beer license requires us to be a 21+ only space. Proof of vaccination required.
